Morgan Project

  One of our most unusual woodworking projects was the construction of Classic Morgan Car bodies. It turns out that into the 1960's the British Morgan Car Company made classic sport cars with crafted wood body structures (the shaped wooden framework under formed sheet metal). These beautifully sculpted automobiles occasionally required restoration of the wood components. Our Morgan Project reproduced classic Morgan wood bodies for Master Morgan craftsman, Steve Miller. We are proud to say the woodworking design of Morgan assemblies made by Dean Santner Design were built to withstand stresses of over 120 mph.
